TYPES
NATURAL
It is one that includes forests, trees, bushes, plants growing, etc. For example, forestry farms produces a series of waste or by-products, with a high energy, which do not serve for the manufacture of furniture nor paper, such as leaves and small branches, and which may be used as an energy source.

RESIDUAL
Is that which corresponds to residues of straw, sawdust, manure, slaughterhouse waste, urban waste, etc. The use of the residual biomass energy, for example, results in energy from wood waste and agricultural waste (straw, shells, bones...), urban wastes, livestock wastes, as slurry or manure, sludge treatment plant, etc. Agricultural residues can also leverage energy and there are plants of energy recovery of residual straw from fields that is not used for fodder for animals.
DRY BIOMASS AND HUMEDA
segun the proportion of water in substances that form biomass, can also be classified into:
Dry biomass: wood, charcoal, forest residues, remnants of the logging industry and the furniture, etc. Wet biomass: residues from the manufacture of oils, sludge from sewage, slurry, etc. This has much importance with regard to the type of use, and the transformation processes which can be subjected for the purported energy.
HISTORY
A part of the energy that reaches the Earth from the Sun is absorbed by the plants through photosynthesis, and converted into organic matter with a higher energy content than mineral substances. In this way, every year produced 2·1011 tons of dry organic matter, with an energy content equivalent to 68000 million toe (tonnes of oil equivalent), which is approximately equivalent to five times the demand energy mundial.2 in spite of this, its enormous dispersion makes that only a minimal part of the same exploits. The most notable forms of biomass for their energy use include energy fuels (cane sugar, beet, etc.) and waste (agricultural, forestry, livestock, urban, sewage sludge and computers, plants, etc.)
DISADVANTAGES
Perhaps the biggest problem that can generate these processes is the use of vegetable edible crops (one example corn, very suitable for these uses), or the change of crop lands, until that time dedicated to food, to the cultivation of plants used to produce biofuels, rich countries can afford, but at the cost of increasing the diet of poorer countries increasing the problem of hunger in the world. Incineration can be dangerous and toxic substances. Therefore you must use filters and perform the combustion at temperatures above 900 ° c. There are too many ideal locations for its advantageous use. To raise prices is funded by clearing native forests will be replaced by crops of products destined for biofuel.
ADVANTAGES
The use of biomass for energy purposes has the following environmental benefits: reduction of the emissions of CO2Aunque for the use of this renewable energy have proceed to combustion, and the result is water and CO2, the amount of this gas causing the greenhouse effect, can be seen that it is the same amount that was captured by plants during their growth. That is, that it does not imply an increase of the gas into the atmosphere. Does not emit pollutants sulforados or nitrogen, or just solid particles. If residues of other activities are used as biomass, this translates into a recycling and reduction of waste. Energy crops will replace surplus on the market of food crops. That may offer a new opportunity to the agricultural sector. It allows the introduction of large rotational value against cereal monoculture crops. It may cause an economic increase in rural areas. It reduces the external dependence of the fuel supply.

DRY BIOMASS TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES
The energy contained in dry biomass is easier to exploit, by means of thermochemical processes such as combustion, pyrolysis or gasificacion.1 retrieved energy efficiency tends to be high. In the table below are indicated the products obtained in this exploitation, notably heat (for heating systems, boilers, etc), the electricity obtained (steam under great pressure by pretending a turbine connected to an electrical generator), hot water vapor, or different fuels (methanol, methane).
PROCESSES OF TRANSFORMATION OF THE BIOMASS WET
In this case used processes bioquimicos1 of transformation, with lower energy efficiency and processing times longer. They have more interest ecological (many are polluting substances) to the own energy use.

INTRODUCTION
The idea is to make a project about plants of biomass energy that we have as a goal the students of tenth. I have intended to strengthen knowledge in relation to the issue and to strengthen the language of English.
I'll be through consultations, with the help of pages containing an in-depth information regarding the topic for a well executed project, also with the help of other programs to design it and blogger tools. Starting from the month of August and September, in the course of the month my advances and tareas.el will be showcased project is addressed to all the public, but without however persons who will show more interest in the subject clarified you doubts and deepen more information related to the topic.
Achievement or goal is to present a good project and ensure that the public is well informed and have more knowledge regarding biomass power plants. And achieve a brilliant presentation of the project to the public.
